📚 About the book
Rahul Mehra, a retired chief of India’s Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), came across a thriller/suspense novel based on the narcotics mafia. Although self-published, the novel became a bestseller. Rahul noticed that a chapter bore an uncanny resemblance to a situation that had occurred when he was with the NCB. A top Indian publisher went all out to contact the author to publish the same under its banner. Rahul too was keen to meet the author to find out how and why a delicate situation known only to him surfaced in the novel. When the author was contacted, events unfolded rapidly which had a far-reaching impact on the presidential election campaign in the USA. Unwittingly, Rahul gets embroiled in a political endgame. There was an untold part of the situation, known only to Rahul, which remained a mystery, till the end. Chapter 31 is a fast-paced, gripping novel which captures the reader’s attention from the very beginning. The twists and turns make this novel unputdownable.
